The Army and Navy Club Library, one of the oldest libraries in the District of
Columbia, was founded in 1891. Since that time, it has grown from a single room
"set aside on the second floor" in 1912 to 20,000 volumes in the spacious third
floor quarters in the present building. With its wide range of books and
periodicals, The Army and Navy Club Library provides an outstanding source of
information and a perfect place to do professional reading, to keep up with the
day's news or to check out a best seller. | |
