Club Policies

Dress Code

In keeping with the fine traditions of our Club, please remember to adhere to the Clubhouse dress code.

Main Dining Room & Catering Rooms
Gentlemen, 18 years of age or older, are required to wear a coat and necktie or a suit for lunch, dinner, and theme Sunday brunches in the Main Dining Room. Ladies attire should be of comparable degree of formality. Members and guests may wear sport coats and open collared shirts in the Dining Room for breakfast.

Daiquiri Lounge
Gentlemen may wear sport coats and open collared shirts year round. No neckties are necessary.

Eagle Grill
Members may wear casual clothing appropriate to the season. Men’s casual attire may include the following: sports jackets; casual dress trousers with belt; appropriate winter sweaters; shirts with a collar; and men’s casual shoes worn with socks. Women’s dress should be of comparable formality.

Members and guest may be casually dressed for breakfast served in the Bull Pen adjacent to the Pershing Room Monday through Saturday.

Breakfast & Sunday Brunch
Gentlemen, 18 years of age or older may wear sport coats and open collared shirts in the Main Dining Room. Men’s casual shoes worn with socks and casual dress trousers with belt are acceptable. Women’s attire should be of comparable formality. Members and guests may also be casually dressed for breakfast served in the Bull Pen adjacent to the Pershing Room during Monday through Saturday. Brunches for Christmas/Santa, Easter, Mothers’ Day, and Thanksgiving, gentlemen 18 years of age or older are required to wear a coat and tie. Ladies attire should be of comparable degree of formality.

Summer Dress Code
From May 1 through September 30, gentlemen may wear sport coats and open collared shirts in the Main Dining Room for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Men's casual shoes worn with socks and casual dress trousers with belt are acceptable. Ladies may wear open toed dress shoes and may refrain from wearing nylons or socks, as long as all other dress is of comparable formality to the gentlemen.

Military Uniform is considered formal when it is the prescribed uniform of the day by the respective military services. Short sleeved uniform or other uniform not requiring coat or tie may be worn in the Club when it is the prescribed uniform of the day by the respective military services.

Inappropriate attire includes:
  • Jeans
  • Shorts of any kind
  • Miniskirts
  • T-shirts
  • Shirts without a collar
  • Halter tops
  • Any type of athletic clothing
  • Baseball caps
  • Tennis/running shoes
  • Any type of men's shoe worn without socks unless entering or exiting the building for purposes of the use of the Club’s athletic facility.
A limited supply of coats and ties will be maintained for temporary use at the Front Desk. At no time may members wear clothing printed with profanity or statements which are derogatory toward the government, or with information which is racially, ethnically, religiously or otherwise offensive to an individual or group.

Cell Phone Policy

The use of a cell phone is prohibited in all dining areas, the library and gym.

Cell Phones are only allowed in the following areas:
  • Main lobby
  • Eagle Grill hallway
  • 2nd floor hallway
  • Hotel rooms and 3rd and 4th floor hallways

Smoking Policy

The Army and Navy Club is a Smoke Free Club. Cigarette, cigar, pipe smoking, or smoking of any type of tobacco product is strictly prohibited.
