    • Quite simply, the members. Our membership is made up of more than 80% retired and active duty military officers. The Army and Navy Club isn't just a city Club, it is a place where veterans enjoy the company of others who have served. Yes, the Army and Navy Club is a great place to host social and business functions, but it's more than a business and social club. The ANC is a place to call home, to share your military legacy, to remain engaged in the military community, and to be honored for your service, all while enjoying exceptional cuisine in a beautiful facility.

  • Does the Army and Navy Club respect diversity?
    • Members of The Army and Navy Club include some of the nation's most influential military, corporate, academic, civic and social leaders. We support a healthy diversity in our membership that reflects a wide range of philosophies and perspectives.

  • What types of events does the Club offer?
    • The Army and Navy Club offers a variety of events for all interests. Our Book Forum program is offered at least once per month and features prominent authors discussing a wide range of topics, many of whom are on the New York Times best sellers list. There are family events for the kids, holiday buffets, black tie dinners and many other fun events to keep the Club calendar full of variety and fun.

  • Does the Club offer different levels of membership?

  • Does the Club have a golf course or a pool?
    • The Army and Navy Club is located in the heart of Washington, DC. We do not have a golf course and are not affiliated with any golf clubs in the area. We do not offer a pool, but have a terrific athletic facility with racquetball and squash courts.

  • How does the Club communicate with its members?
    • The Membership Department sends bi-weekly e-newsletters with general announcements, Club news and upcoming events. A printed magazine, The Dispatch, is offered 12 times per year, and our website is a wonderful source of information.
