A person who is serving or has served as a commissioned officer in one of the uniformed services of the United States (i.e. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or Public Health Service) shall be eligible for regular membership. Regular membership shall carry all privileges, including the right to vote, to serve as an officer of the Club or a member of the Board of Governors, to have an interest in the property of the Club and to endorse applications for membership.
Persons who are closely associated with the military profession, or who are prominent in their profession or community, and who are compatible with the membership of this Club, shall be eligible for associate membership. Associate membership shall carry all privileges except the right to vote, to serve as an officer of the Club or as a member of the Board of Governors, to have an interest in the property of the Club and to endorse applications for membership.
The privileges of membership may be extended to Ambassadors and commissioned officers in the armed forces of foreign countries so long as they are on duty in the United States.
