STORM CLOSING ALERT
THE ARMY AND NAVY CLUB
WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2010 and WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2010.
Dear Members and Guests,
The Washington, DC metro area is expecting
another winter storm Tuesday, February 9, 2010 through Wednesday February 10,
2010. Estimated precipitation amounts are between 8-12 inches of snow.
Many area roads are still in bad form as the area continues clean up from the
blizzard conditions of the past weekend. Travel during this upcoming storm is
highly discouraged. The Club will close on Tuesday, February 9 and Wednesday,
February 10, 2010. This cautionary measure is being made out of concern for the
safety of our membership and Club staff.
During this closure, all
Army and Navy Club formal dining and banquet functions are cancelled.
The hotel will remain open
to accommodate overnight guests. Hotel guests should check with the front desk
staff regarding limited food and beverage service.
Thank you for your
continued understanding.
Sincerely,
Attila Harai
General Manager
